By downloading, installing, or using Chronos ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Description of Service

Chronos is a countdown timer application that allows you to:

  • Create and manage countdown timers for events
  • Set reminders and notifications for upcoming events
  • Display countdowns in iOS widgets
  • Organize events by categories
  • View insights and statistics about your events

Subscription Terms

Pro Subscription

Chronos offers a "Chronos Pro" subscription that provides:

  • Unlimited events
  • Advanced notification settings
  • Detailed insights and analytics
  • Custom backgrounds and themes
  • Category management features

Subscription Details

  • Payment: Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account
  • Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
  • Cancellation: You can cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings
  • Refunds: Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's refund process
  • Price Changes: We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days notice

Free Tier

The App offers a free tier with limited functionality. Features may be restricted or limited compared to the Pro subscription.

User-Generated Content

Your Content

You retain ownership of all events, images, and other content you create within the App ("Your Content"). By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store Your Content locally on your device to provide App functionality.

Third-Party Images

When using the image search feature, images are provided by Pexels. These images are licensed under the Pexels License, which allows free use for commercial and non-commercial purposes. You are responsible for ensuring your use of these images complies with Pexels' terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or decompile the App
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Use automated systems to access the App
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

Intellectual Property

Our Rights

The App, including its design, code, and features, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Third-Party Rights

The App uses third-party services and content:

  • RevenueCat: Subscription management service
  • Pexels: Image search and licensing

Service Availability

  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation
  • We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the App at any time

Data Loss

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

Termination
